N is for Nails

My terrible confession is that I bite my nails. I've bitten them for as long as I remember, apart from a few months here and there when I've managed to stop. Lately I have been biting them until they get very sore, so I figured it was time to give quitting another proper go. So I'm making it public - I am going to stop biting my nails from today. There. I've said it. I'm slightly more accountable now so maybe that will help.

I have the Big Cold Turkey wristband and horrid tasting nail polish - so I'm armed and ready to fight!

I'm too ashamed to post a photo of my nails as they are today, but here is a shot of how pretty they were last summer (OK, they are fake nails but I had to grow my own first to get them attached so I'm not totally cheating!).

I've never been a nail-biter, but I was a thumb-sucker as a child. Good luck breaking the habit, it can be tough sometimes, but you can do it!

Good luck! I'll be back to check how you're doing. :-)

I'm also a nail biter, I can't help it, as soon as they start to get a little long I start bitting and tearing at them.
Found you from the A-Z Challenge, and I’m now following you on GFC. I hope you have a chance to check out my blog!

Good luck to you. I'm really bad for biting my nails too but not to the point of pain. I've always admired those that could grow them.
I love your blog header. It really caught my eye and spurred me to read on. Nice Job.
Found your blog via the A-Z challenge. Following You! Come on over and say "hi".

Ooooh, I love the picture! I used to be a nail-biter. What actually got me to stop was trying to have my nails done. I had always wanted to have pretty nails so that did the trick. But I have to do them frequently, or I get the urge to bite them again..... It's a nervous habit, I guess. Good luck to us with it!
