Some more Halloween snippets...

Here are a few more shots from my Halloween. The first few are taken using the colour sketch feature on my dSLR camera. I am loving this effect at the moment! It can make such ordinary shots look really interesting. I also tried out a few candle shots using the full manual mode. I am still struggling on trying to learn how to do this with my 'for Dummies book' but it is slow progress at the moment.

It's Bonfire Night tonight and even though we're not going to watch any firework displays Art didn't want to miss out so I bought him some indoor sparklers. He had to be very careful, being made of wood and all!

Art spent today hanging out with some of his family. Being the smallest he needs someone to keep an eye on him sometimes.

What a greedy guy Art seems to be in today's shot. He devoured this Beetroot and Chocolate cupcake in a matter of minutes. I had to be pretty quick to get this shot.

In keeping with the time of year I went for a scary-style shot this week. The killer shadow was out to get me!

And I was featured in this weeks top 10 - yay! Even if it was only because there weren't many entries to choose from!

Art Every Day Month - Day 1

I took part in Art Every Day Month last November and I thought it might do me good again this year. I've decided to take a photo every day, but with a theme and a slight twist. So, meet Art, the mini wooden artist mannequin. Over the next 30 days I'll be following him around with my camera! You'll see what Art gets up to every day.
