The 365 Scientist - Day 25

I was having a bit of trouble working out my data so I let the 365 Scientist have a go. I hope he's having better luck than me. At least he looks like he's enjoying it, and that's more than I can say!

The 365 Scientist - Day 24

After yesterday's debacle with the cold bath, the 365 Scientist decided to have a go at fixing the boiler himself. I'm not quite sure a screwdriver is the way to go, but better that than the hammer he's got there!

The 365 Scientist - Day 23

It's bath time! The 365 Scientist loves relaxing in the tub (well, sink) with his rubber duckies. Maybe now would be the time to tell him about the broken boiler? Else he's in for quite a shock!

Doodle Day!

Doodle day is a little late, but here are a couple to keep you going until next Friday............

The 365 Scientist - Day 22

Today the 365 Scientist went cherry picking. He was very brave climbing high up the ladder; which was very useful to reach the highest branches, although I think most of the cherries didn't make it down the tree!

Feature Creature Interview 1 - Plush of the Living Dead

Feature Creature is back, and this time it's even better! There'll be interviews, exclusive photos and a chance to take home the plushie in question at a discount. As you may have seen yesterday, the 365 Scientist has been interviewing our first feature creature who is.......Plush of the Living Dead! Take it away guys...............

365 Scientist: So, what's it like being dead?

Plush of the Living Dead: Well, technically I'm undead. But it's pretty cool. Once I'd gotten over the whole 'digging myself out of my own grave' thing, I started to see the benefits. Well, I can't really see the benefits that well as my eye fell out of it's socket, but there are definite perks to being undead. Noone is mean to me; actually, some to think of it, noone really comes near me much - might be because I smell a bit. Only a bit, you know, like a rotting corpse, but I can't help that and its not that bad when you get used to it. I do get to stay up late at night, and I can scare people I don't like.

If you could scare 1 person who would it be and why?

If we're talking celebrities it would have to be Stephen King. I've never forgiven him for giving me nightmares after reading 'It'. Why do you need scary killer clowns anyway? There's no need for that sort of thing. I'd like to give him a piece of my mind.

What is your favourite film?

The best film ever is Bambi. What, I'm not allowed to have a softer side?

Do you have any chores in the Fur Will Fly house?

I'm in charge of emptying the smelly bin. The other plushies voted I got that chore because I already smell quite yukky. I don't mind - it's true after all. Bad smells really don't bother me much anymore.

Who is your best friend?

I don't really hang out with others much but I enjoy watching horror movies with Frankenstein's Plush!

Do you play any sports?

Sports are a but tricky for me with my arms the way they are, so I tend to avoid physical activity, but I do enjoy a good game of chase. I'm not bad at blind man's buff either!

What's better?
(a) chilling out on the sofa in front of the TV
(b) long country walks
(c) shopping in the town centre
(d) going to the pub?

Definitely (a). No question.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Stephen King's house. I really hate that guy.

Do you eat brains?

Mmmmm, brains. Only joking, no, that's such a cliche. I eat baked beans, crisps and jaffa cakes mostly. I thought eating brains might make it harder to fit in with the others in the Fur Will Fly house, so I decided to give them up. Although as a special treat I am allowed a zombie brain-shaped jelly!

Why should someone want you to go live with them?

You should take me home with you because I don't smell too bad really, I promise not to eat your yummy brains and I don't mind emptying your bins. Who wouldn't want me to live with them?!

Thanks for the very enlightening interview guys! I hope you've enjoyed your glimpse into the inner workings of the plushie mind.

If you are interested in taking Plush of the Living Dead home with you, his price will be reduced in my shop to $25 for the month of August!
Please convo me after buying him, with the secret code word BRAIN, for a partial refund on your purchase!

He looks forward to eating your brains soon,.... sorry, I mean NOT eating your brains soon.

Doodle Schmoodle - Days 6 & 7

For day 6 we had to doodle why we are so clever - I thought I'd doodle the process of bringing a crazy idea to life! Here's how I make my plushies:

Day 7 of Doodle Schmoodle was my 'patchwork life' which is quite appropriate for me because I always feel like I'm balancing all the different bits of my life which don't naturally go together!

The 365 Scientist - Day 21

The 365 Scientist ventured into the garden today, between the showers, and picked some of our homegrown produce. Here he is picking the blackberries, which incidentally aren't actually berries at all - they are aggregate-accessory fruits apparently!

The 365 Scientist - Day 20

The 365 Scientist and I went for a little walk in the countryside this afternoon and it was all very pretty and relaxing. He got a bit upset when he wasn't allowed past this fence over the field to the pretty house, but we explored the woodland paths and watched the ducks on the lake instead. Next time we'll remember to take bread to feed them too.

The 365 Scientist - Day 19

I'm not quite sure whether the 365 Scientist is studying the 22 bones of the skull or practising his Shakespeare! Perhaps he's interested in branching out into the arts. Alas poor Yorick....
