With the lavender in the garden almost at the end of its blooming period, the 365 Scientist and I thought it would be a great idea to use some in our baking today! We made this rather yummy lavender cake and some lovely little cookies too. The 365 Scientist discovered that baking is a little like carrying out an experiment, so I think he might be baking again very soon.
