MCP Project 52 Week 33/52 - Slow Down and Look Back
I came up with a few ideas for this one, involving old cameras and photographs mainly, but I'm glad I chose the shot I did because it was featured on the MCP Project blog on Saturday - yay!! So here it is and a few of the shots that didn't quite make it too:

MCP Project 52 Week 32/52 - My Favourite Time of Day
A cup of tea, a sit down and a good book - bliss!
My other choice for the theme this week was bedtime, and I thought what better way to show this time than a teddy bear, story book, candle and glass of milk - isn't that how all our bedtimes look these days?!

Teacup 30 - Day 9
A cake stand full of yummy cakes, and a cup of white tea with raspberry - thats how I spent my afternoon!

Teacup 30 - Day 1
I decided to start a new little project today - a Teacup 30 - 30 days of photos of 1 object. I bought this cute little miniature teacup on Etsy a while back and have been planning to do some fun shots of tea in different places so here is the perfect opportunity.
Day 1 is on the beach.

MCP Project 52 Week 31/52 - Sky
I saw stars in the sky for this weeks theme. I had to do battle with the wind to get a good shot with all the balloons doing the same thing and behaving nicely. I was in and out of the garden with the damn things, every time the wind died down! Finally I was happy with this one....
I increased the contrast and added the lomo effect on Picnik to make my stars glow. I like seeing stars in the sunshine!
I had a couple of others that didn't quite meet my approval too....

Best of 365 Self - 25th-31st July
Quite a few photos this week were just taken at home and I didn't have any particularly groundbreaking ideas or exciting props, but I did get Doris back so that was a bonus! My tripod plate (which I'm almost 100% convinced I left on the camera by mistake when I sent it off) has gone missing though so I can't use the Gorillapod yet. I wasn't feeling that inspired for photos this week - I must revisit my little list of ideas I think.
Here are a few faves anyway:
